LAWN BOWLS APPLICATION >While bowls is a gentle, challenging sport requiring skill, judgment and co-ordination, it’s also extremely friendly and is an ideal way to socialise and meet with other members. The Lawn Bowls section of The Glen Country Club has three world class bowling greens, on which a number of different bowls tournaments take place.We provide all members with the opportunity to engage in this traditional sport which has shown, in recent years, an increase in popularity amongst South Africa’s younger generation. The Glen Country Club provides multiple bowling greens with overwhelming views within a peaceful and natural habitat.These greens are located at both our Clifton venue as well as our Green Point Sports Recreation Centre.Bowl Club.Members have the opportunity to take part in the Mixed Bowling League. This league is a regional bowls competition which includes The Glen Country Club and many other local clubs.
TENNIS CLUB APPLICATION >The tennis courts of the Glen Country Club are located between Clifton 4th beach and Glen Beach in Cape Town.We have eight beautiful outdoor hard courts with magnificent views over the Atlantic Ocean, Lions Head and the stunning Twelve Apostles.
