LAWN BOWLS APPLICATION > While bowls is a gentle, challenging sport requiring skill, judgment and co-ordination, it’s also extremely friendly and is an ideal way to socialise and meet with other members. The Lawn Bowls section of The Glen Country Club has three world class bowling greens, in Clifton on which a number of different bowls tournaments take place.

We provide all members with the opportunity to engage in this traditional sport which has shown, in recent years, an increase in popularity amongst South Africa’s younger generation. The Glen Country Club provides multiple bowling greens with overwhelming views within a peaceful and natural habitat.

Members have the opportunity to take part in the Mixed Bowling League. This league is a regional bowls competition which includes The Glen Country Club and many other local clubs.
